Trade within the EU (28 countries) in Livestock is relatively easy to achieve.
The Buyer sets the health protocols
The Buyer sets the standards for the Livestock required.
The UK Government Laboratory carries out the blood testing for each animal and verifies that the animal is on the Holding (Farm) specified in the Export licence and that the Holding is not restricted by for example a TB test failure.

Requires bi-lateral agreements between the EU and the Country that wish to purchase either Livestock or Genetics

Established in 2014 several Facebook pages have been established primarily by Brent Clements from the USA with help from Matt Seeliger from Australia and myself.
The main page Global Guernsey Marketing has over 21,000 followers from 45 different countries.

There are no significant numbers of Guernseys in any of these countries other than the USA, but each country has access to Holstein and Jersey genetics. The pipelines are in place but efforts are required to make Guernsey semen and embryos available to these markets.
