2 So, what is a Typical Tradie?
Rosa Hollows, TAFE student Daughter of eye surgeon Fred Hollows did VET in Schools, carpentry. Qualified through TAFE, Rosa now runs her own renovation business Sam Spong, TAFE student Sam won National WorldSkills bricklaying competition, and then went to win Bronze at the 43rd International competition in Brazil, this year. Sam is now on the way to earning almost 200k pa. Ben Madden, TAFE student Ben Madden won an International WorldSkills Gold medal in Then set up his own boutique furniture making business in 1999, which has now won 7 National Industry awards, and employs up to 50 people.
