CRM Program Change: Cross-ORG Views for AACIAG & AICNCG Accounts
effective Feb 14, 2006
2
New Siebel Account View “All US Accounts (AACIAG&AICNCG)”
All inside Sales and Support for AAC/IAG and AIC/NCG now have this view note: Field Sales does NOT have this view Provides access to the data to eliminate cross-ORG conflicts on Active Accounts You must check Siebel on all Accounts to make sure they are not a customer of the other Organization (direct or indirect) BEFORE quoting or placing order see next slide for explanation online orders cannot be controlled
3
Guidelines for Cross-ORG Accounts: Quotes & Orders & Direct Marketing
4
To “protect” your accounts, the information must be in Siebel DB
All active Accounts must be in Siebel with ERP ID and correct Status include Contact info whenever possible Interactions with Accounts must be recorded as Siebel Activities All Opportunities must be kept up-to-date in Siebel Opportunities Actions to close deals must be recorded as Activities within the Account/Opportunity record
5
For Post-Sales Tech Support
Closely query Siebel for existing Account record on all support questions If Account exists under other ORG, and meets “ownership” criteria (slide 3), you should refer the customer to that ORG for support If there is no Account “ownership” reflected in Siebel or SAP, you should provide Service Request
