Share your story with them. Do they have experience with violence among young people?
Invite them to participate in Y2Y Week and your peace march.

Brainstorm ideas, staff supporters, and community partners.
Select a location, like a public park or popular area, and plan your route.
Talk with law enforcement, city council, or mayor’s office to find out if a permit is necessary – and invite them to participate!
Ask your local officials to request a citywide
proclamation for your event.
