10. SRE and puberty lessons
Children in Year 5 will be participating in sex and relationship education lessons linked to the development of their changing bodies.
Children will be learning about the physical and emotional changes to both girls and boys bodies and also looking at the menstruation cycle.
Children will also think about how to keep their bodies clean and healthy and the importance of eating a balanced diet.
They will be learning about this in the week beginning Monday 9th October (just over 2 weeks time).

Macbeth play for Key Stage 2 children – Thursday 29th September 2017.
Tatton Park – Victorian fancy dress outfit on Friday 20th October 2017.
Robinwood – 3 day residential on Wednesday 17th – Friday 19th January 2018.

12. Robinwood Residential
The children will have a brilliant opportunity to attend Robinwood during their second term. This is a worthwhile trip which the children, and staff, in past years have thoroughly enjoyed.
There will be a meeting closer to the date to discuss the trip on Thursday 30th November at 3:30pm and we will provide clothing lists and further information.
