Description Scope This Project is located in Somwhereville, a small town on the Kentish coast. The now vacant property owned by a national supermarket chain is being purchased with the aim of bringing forward a comprehensive mixed use scheme . The scheme focusses on key deliverables to Create Economic Growth by releasing land to simulate economic growth in a critical town centre location – particularly though the development of new housing. The project will incorporate a review of the delivery of public services being delivered in the area to determine whether there will be a better method of delivery between partners that might improve and/or result in efficiency savings. Regeneration of a deprived area of town. X units of housing built. X number of jobs created. Service delivery redesign A Masterplan is to required to outline available options.

Prepare a Master Plan and Development Manager to accelerate the delivery of the scheme. Develop a detailed plan to accelerate development of much needed residential accommodation. Create a better setting for the surrounding local government offices Conduct comprehensive review of public service provision in the area to determine if an integrated service delivery between partners could result in improved services/efficiencies. Programme FEASIBILITY & PLANNING PHASE Partners engage into formal Scoping August 2017 Commission Feasibility for wider project September 2017 Feasibility phase (Complete) November 2017 Partners Agree Recommendations December 2017 2018 Business case resource identified January 2018 Business case and negotiations take place March 2018. Decisions obtained by partners May 2018. DELIVERY PHASE Completion June 2018 – June 2021
