2. What is e-Office....? Why it is required....?
e-Office is a web based software where the manual running of files can be replaced with the electronic system.
It is a paperless office where each and every work related to files runs electronically.
Why it is required....?
The Main Objective this system is to increase:
Efficiency, Transparency & Accountability of the file management system.
Work from Home & Safety to the environment.

5. Mahabubnagar District is the Second District in Telangana state in implementing eOffice system.
Initially, we have Implemented eOffice Lite (eFile) Version with FMS & KMS.
1. File Management System (eFile) automates the processing of files and receipts. This includes creation of files (electronic), movement of files in the workflow, tracking of files and their management.
2. Knowledge Management System (KMS) acts as a centralized repository of various documents such as acts, policies and guidelines.
Collaboration and Messaging Services (CAMS) for internal collaboration and messaging will be implemented in Mahabubnagar District as a PILOT Project from July 2017 onwards.

6. The District has become a role model of Administrative Excellence in Telangana State.
In the PHASE-1 the eOffice has been implemented in Collectorate Mahabubnagar (Revenue Department) with more than 60 Users.
In PHASE-2 : We have Implemented from JULY 2017 (with 17 Users) onwards
District Panchayat Office (DPO) (PANCHAYAT RAJ DEPARTMENT),
Chief Planning Office (CPO) (PLANNING DEPARTMENT),
Sub Collector Office, Narayanpet, & RDO Office Mahabubnagar.
In PHASE-3: Will be implemented in AUGUST-2017 in the following Departments
District Supply Office
District Agriculture Office &
District Horticulture Office.
In PHASE-4 we are planning to implement eOffice in all the TEHSIL OFFICES of the District.
