Will a marble roll further if I increase
the slope? (angle of inclined plane) Problem - Hypothesis- I think if I increase the slope, the marble will roll __________. Materials - Marble, books, ruler, meter stick

Procedure: 1. Place a textbook down on the floor and lay the ruler so it rests on the floor and textbook like an inclined plane. 2. Roll the marble down the center of the ruler and record distance marble traveled. 3. Repeat twice more. 4. Place another textbook on the first and again place the ruler on the books. 5. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
