4 Types of Lines What kinds of lines did we read about in the book?
We are going to draw a curvy, swoopy, swishy, wiggly kind of line today.

5 Step 1- Draw a border Write your name on the back.
Put the paper in landscape position. First, draw a border. Put dots ½’ in from each corner Draw a lines to connect the dots

6 Step 2- Draw a continuous line
What does continuous mean? How do you make a continuous line? Put pen down and don’t pick it up until your line covers the page. The line can cross over itself many times going round and round. It should be a natural flowing line, not jagged or angular.

7 Step 3- Contained spaces
How many contained spaces did you create with your line? You are going to fill those spaces in with color.

8 Step 4- Paint some of the shapes
Paint your contained spaces in. You can fill in all or most of them. Use lots of different colors.
