1. Saving Obvibase Files Correctly
If you do not follow these directions, your Obvibase file will save as an html file

2. Under Main Menu on the right
Click on the Main Menu Tab on the right hand side of the screen
Then click on Copy/Export
Make sure all boxes are checked then click on the Export tab

3. Under the Export Tab
Again make sure all boxes are checked and then click on Export to csv file

4. The exported file will downloaded on the bottom of your screen
Click on Exported.csv to open the Excel Spreadsheet containing the data from your database

5. The Excel Spreadsheet
You should now have an Excel Spreadsheet open with your data from the Obvibase Database

6. To Save your Data
Click on file and then click Save As

7. After clicking Save As Click computer and Browse, then Google Drive
Choose Google Drive in the box that pops up!

8. Saving your work Click on the Save as type (Under the file name)

9. After clicking Save as type
Scroll to the top and choose Excel Workbook

10. Saving your work
Change file name to “Mystery Obvibase + your last name” then click Save

11. File to upload
If you followed these steps the file will be on your Google Drive as an Excel Spreadsheet named Mystery Database + your last name. Upload this file for the database file. If you do not follow these directions your file will be saved as an html file that just shows jibberish.
