Salem 1 & 2 [PSEG Nuclear] S1: April 14 to July 30: 24th Refueling (scheduled for 28 Days) Outage Delayed Due to Discovery of Broken Reactor Core Baffle Bolts August 31 to September 14: Operated at 60% due to high vibrations on a Steam Generator Feedpump NRC Assessment (ROP Action Matrix): Licensee Response S2: June 28 to July 3: Reactor trip due to Generator protection signal (water intrusion into the Isophase Bus Duct system) July 5 to July 21: Generator removed from service due to intermittent electrical fault in the Main Transformer (indeterminate) July 24 to August 8: Generator tripped from 43% power due to Generator protection signal (broken wire) August 31 to September 6: Reactor trip due to trip of a Reactor Coolant Pump (Containment penetration fault) NRC Assessment (ROP Action Matrix): Regulatory Response – White 2nd Q Unplanned Scrams
