1. General Situation
Widespread insecurities in various locations including in the POC’s(Bentiu ).
Displacement and IDP convergence in various locations with access difficulties and multiple road closures.(Equatorias- Yei river-kapoeta/Mukaya/kanya and kajokeji-Lainay and Wonduruba and Terekeka- Gemeiza)
Recent clashes in Jalle(Bor)- many wounded.

2. State of Emergency
17 July - GoSS declared a state of emergency in Gogrial, some parts of Tonj, Wau and Aweil East states for three months.

3. Outbreaks
Cholera remains a huge focus with active transmission in 11 counties (week 26-30)

4. Planned Interagency Assessments
Pagak- Protection Led assessment
Mvolo and Mundri- 4 clusters to undertake assessment mission to verify reports of hunger related deaths . 3rd August 2017.

5. ICWG and HCT Updates
Advocacy continues at the highest levels on access and insecurity including aid worker harassment issues affecting response.
There is currently a core pipeline break in supplies to support emergency response- advocacy with the humanitarian country team to advocate for funding to purchase health supplies and commodities in the 3rd quarter ahead of implementation for next year.
