Multiplying Decimals Start Smart #2 Pages 7-9

To Multiply: You do not line up the factors by the decimal.
Instead, place the number with more digits on top. Multiply as if multiplying by whole numbers. Count the number of decimal places - from each factor you multiplied. Use the total number of decimal places in your two factors to place the decimal in your answer.
