The first round of pull-out training will be devoted to implementing the new LAL program for K-4. A consultant from Pearson will work with the teachers and Janice during the week of September 21st. Some teachers will have to attend training during the day and then go to Back-to-School night that evening: 1st grade teachers at Crim and Adamsville on Monday, 3rd grade teachers at BG, JFK, Crim and Adamsville on Thursday.

All Kindergarten teachers will be involved in staff development on the 1st for Language Arts. K-4 all teachers (grade level and special ed) will be involved with math training with consultants and Barbara Kane on October 12th from 8:30-12:00, 1:00-3:30 building based professional development. 5th grade teachers and 6th grade math with math consultants from 1:00-3:30. Intermediate schools can have building based PD in the morning. Still need a plan for 6th grade non-math teachers and 7-12 teachers.
