1 High School Completion Information

2 Meeting with counselor
The transcript is evaluated by the counselor Credits needed are assigned and sent to the instructor Each class is worth ½ credit The CASAS appraisal is completed at this time The student will first meet with the counselor to decide which subjects are needed to obtain the high school diploma. Each class is worth ½ credit. The CASAS appraisal is also given at this time.

3 Meeting with instructor
CASAS Pre-test Rules and procedure form CASAS Post-test The student will then be sent to the instructor with the credits that are needed. The CASAS Pre-Test should be the first thing the student completes. The instructor will then go over the rules and procedure form that is located in the faculty hand book. I would also like to mention here that the instructor is also responsible for having the student complete the CASAS Post-test.

4 Subjects available U.S. History Washington State History
Current World Problems (Affairs) World History Environmental Science Math (can also be done as an elective) English The subjects that are currently available are listed here. The student should receive the credit for each subject once the curriculum is completed.

5 Subjects (cont.) Electives: Literature Health Psychology Sociology
Computers Fine Arts This is the list of available elective options. Again, once the curriculum is completed the student should receive credit.

6 Receiving the Diploma The instructor turns in the pink enrollment form and completed high school credit form to the counselor. Once the student has completed all the credits needed, the instructor fills out the high school credit form that is also found in the faculty handbook. This is then turned into the counselor along with the pink enrollment form. The counselor will then mail the diploma to the student.

7 Placement Students should be placed at the lodge
High school students should be placed at the Lodge, unless needing to attend at night.
