Mykonos is world famous for its beautiful golden sandy beaches and transparent waters. There is a beach for every taste and mood. Nudists, round-the-clock party people, families and those seeking a break from the madness of Mykonos will be able to find a beach that fits their taste. The on the south shore of the island have the best sand, view and are protected from the Meltemi, tthe local Cylandic wind. Keep in mind that most people begin to arrive in the early afternoon, and you can avoid the worst of the crowds by going in the morning. The north coast beaches are less developed but just as beautiful. They are less organized and crowded and most suitable for those in search of a bit of calm.

Paradise beach Mykonos is located between Paranga Beach and Super Paradise Beach and is reachable by a footpath from Platis Yialos, by bus or by taxi-boat. The famous Paradise beach is a nice, flat beach. There are a number of popular bars and the majority of people on the beach are youngish. Nudists also frequent this beach. Water sports facilities and a diving center are available in Paradise Beach. A fully organized camping is located behind the beach. The famous Cavo Paradiso which is a large complex working like a night club, containing a pool, a restaurant and a beach bar, is located on a hill, above the beach. By night, Paradise Beach transforms into a huge club with music played by famous DJs and people dancing on the sand and the rocks until dawn.

Cleverly using dance music blogs as the platform to launch his career, Tim Bergling, aka Avicii, has since become one of the most prominent producers on the burgeoning Swedish house scene. Born in Stockholm in 1989, Bergling only started making music at the age of 18, writing and remixing tracks in his bedroom and then leaking them onto various blogs. Influenced by Daft Punk and Steve Angello, his melodic house sound gained a huge following, and led to support from Tiësto, who invited him to perform a weekly residency at Privilege in Ibiza, and Pete Tong, who released first single "Manman" through his Bedroom Bedlam label. After he remixed tracks for Little Boots, Robyn, and Dizzee Rascal, Bergling's first mainstream release, the Ministry of Sound instrumental "Seek Bromance," became a huge hit across Europe and later in the U.K., thanks to a vocal version featuring Amanda Wilson. In 2012 he released the song "2 Million" after reaching that number of followers on Facebook, while his single "Levels" and its accompanying video were nominated at that year's MTV Music Video Awards.
