Uniform and PE Kit Girls: grey skirt or trousers; blue checked dress; white blouse and tie; school jumper or navy cardigan, sensible shoes. Boys: grey trousers; white shirt and tie; school jumper, sensible shoes. P.E: kit should be brought to school on Mondays. JW

Stay on Green Stay on Green is a positive behaviour management system
All children are expected to show green behaviour at all times as this is behaviour for learning Exceptional effort, attitude or behaviour can be rewarded with bronze, silver and gold awards – these are big achievements! All pupils have a pocket with their name on. All pupils start with a green card in their pocket MP

Lateness and Attendance
Children must be dropped off at the school gate no later than 8:50, ready to start learning at 8:55. Gates open at 8:45. Good attendance is extremely important – missed school is missed learning and can affect your child’s progress. CD

School Communication Make an appointment with the office to speak to a member of the teaching staff If you are running late, please ring ahead to let the school know Extended Schools Leader Debbie Cox, can be contacted directly on CD

Maths – activities to embed in class learning Curriculum – to include literacy, art, design, DT Home learning helps children to develop responsibility, independence and ownership of their learning Please insist that home learning is completed and that time is spent on learning at home Sent home Friday – returned Wednesday MP

Volunteering Would you be able to spare some time to volunteer on a regular basis? Parent volunteers are vital for school trips – visits won’t be able to go ahead without you! CD
