5 Customer Needs Education: Life insurance proceeds can ensure that the educational costs of the insured’s children are covered in the event of death of the insured Taxes: Federal estate and state inheritance taxes can be pre-funded using life insurance to preserve the value of an estate. Death benefit can be used to transfer assets that would have otherwise been taxed Donations/Gifts: An individual can use a life certificate to fund a donation to a charity or a gift to a family member

Clients with any of the following conditions will be a decline: AIDS Chronic Hepatitis or Cirrhosis of Liver Kidney or Renal Failure, including dialysis Alzheimer’s/Dementia Congestive Heart Failure Severe Psychotic Disorder Angina – unstable Demyelinating disease, such as Lou Gehrig’s Non-US resident Cancer within last yr. (Except skin cancer) Muscular Dystrophy Non-US citizen or no green card The following condition are also declines for the Essential Life however, they may be better suited for SIWL business: Any combination of cardiovascular diseases (CAD/PVD/PAD) Any cardiovascular impairments with diabetes Use of Oxygen, severe COPD or severe Asthma Diabetes with Kidney Disease

15 Payment Options Life Paid-up at 65:
Excellent option for clients seeking permanent coverage that is paid-up at or near retirement 20-Pay Life: Clients seeking a limited payment period (20 years) Level Pay: Lowest premium option

16 Accelerated Living Benefit Rider
Qualifying Events (certified by physician): Terminal condition - Insured’s death is reasonably expected within 12 months or Expected permanent confinement to qualified nursing home - continuously confined to nursing home for at least 90 days and confinement is expected to be permanent Up to 75% of the face amount can be accelerated (minimum $5,000, maximum $250,000 from all certificates accelerated) No additional charge for rider. Cannot be added after issue. Accelerated payment creates interest-bearing lien on certificate Interest on certificate lien will not be waived, premiums on certificate must continue to be paid Rider terminates at death of insured or termination/expiration of the certificate to which it is attached
