The IB Program Year 1 – this year!
Review and extension of Atomic Structure, Periodicity, Bonding (Chapters 2-4) Moles, Stoichiometry, Molarity, Gas Laws (Chapter 1) Thermodynamics (Chapter 5) Kinetics and Equilibrium (Chapter 6-7) Acid and Base Chemistry (Chapter 8) Redox (Chapter 9) * Group 4 Project: Integrated Project with other IB science classes (Spring? TBD) INTEGRATED PROBLEMS: Analysis is the focus! Problems will draw from many units in one question LOTS of lab focus (practical questions)

Always wear safety goggles when doing an experiment Always point test tubes and other items away from yourself and others when heating. Don’t eat or drink while in the lab. Keep hair and other flammable objects away from flames. Don’t leave a flame unattended. Image:
