Barcode Reading has been added to provide extended functionality as an added value to ISVs and customer applications that have a need to use barcodes for:
Separate documents based on the presence of a barcode.
Read the value of the barcode for such things as:
A reference for database lookups
File Naming
Notes
For application integration the barcode value will be returned in the TWAIN Extended image info, and ISIS tags
Only ONE barcode, the first one found, will be read.
For reading multiple barcodes on a document or extended barcode reading capabilities, users should consider the use Capture Pro Limited Edition or Capture Pro
