The 'Chapel A Charity Cricket Match 2017' will take place at Woodhouse CC on Meanwood Road on Thursday 13th July at 6pm. It should be a fun night and all are welcome. Please let James Dey know if you want to play or are up for helping out in any way More details to come! 
PICNIC IN THE PARK Churches Together in Chapel Allerton and Meanwood informal Get-Together. Sunday 9th July, 3 - 5pm. Bottom end of Meanwood Park, Green Road. Bring a picnic and whatever else you might need for an afternoon in the park. A small number of tables and chairs will be available for those who need them and can't bring their own. Hope to see you there! NB. theres no plan b - if it's really wet, we won't be meeting.
15th JULY - CHAPEL A WEEKEND AT HOME
It's just a few weeks now until our 'weekend at home', a really special day in Harrogate where we can spend time together with God in a more relaxed setting. There will be a full programme of children and youth work, and the contributors to the adult stream are Stephen and Helena Ibbotson. Their chosen theme is 'Desire and Human Flourishing', which sounds like an Ingmar Bergman film, but isn't. Doesn't that make you curious? Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A.
Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor.
Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall.
Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall.

STEWARDING FOR THE ARTS FESTIVAL –
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Chapel Allerton Arts Festival is the weekend of the 1st - 3rd September and as well as volunteering to man the Chapel A stand, you could get involved by stewarding for the Festival itself. It's not hard, only takes a couple of hours and it's good fun, wearing a high-vis jacket, smiling lots and helping out on the gates! The Festival needs more volunteers, so please use this great opportunity to get more involved in our community. Full training is provided, 2 hour shifts on Friday evening, Sat morning, lunch or evening or Sunday. Contact the Head Steward or fill in the form on the website Thank you.
