Yr9 GCSE: AQA PHOTOGRAPHY
The Harefield Academy Flo Awolaja: Head of Photography This year first cohort of YR9 GCSE photography students have really worked hard to produce varied and interesting work. They have had to apply, learn and develop a whole range of thinking and creative skills, in order to produce their coursework. As the year has progressed they have grown in confidence, and this body of work they have produced is just a snippet of what they have accomplished. Yr9 GCSE: AQA PHOTOGRAPHY

Jason Mowinski In year 9 Photography we have learnt a lot of new skills and techniques on how to take photos and how to make that photo feel special and to make the viewer think wow. We have gone over the basics of the camera e.g. Understanding Composition, Aperture priority and shutter speed all to make our photos a little bit more unique than other ordinary photos taken on your phone.

Thomas Jeffery These are my year 9 photos.
Over this year of my photography course I have learned how to properly use a camera. These pictures feel attached to me. For example the mud photo it shows that I have a pattern and so do you. My favourite photograph is the picture of the blades of grass. This is because I enjoy the way the water sits on the blades of grass also the different shades of greens in this photograph.

These photos are from a number of different projects, such as Aperture Priority, Depth of Field and the Churchyard. I enjoy photography because it allows me to create work that I feel represents many different aspects of different situations.
