2. Welcome Fellow Members
Did you know it’s our 63rd year?
New and exciting changes are afoot!
There are now 6 regular open monthly competitions. (Previous year we had 5)
Adding more opportunities to compete:
September 28, 2017 – Judge: Pat Ritter
October 19, 2017 – Judge: Ron Wyatt
November 16, 2017 – Judge: Roz Rosenblum
February 15, 2018 – Judge: TBD
March 16, 2018 – Judge: TBD
April 19, 2018 – Judge: TBD

3. Assigned Subject Competitions
Assigned Subjects – Are taking a different approach.
In addition to our regular open Competitions, we now have added one Assigned Subject to every competition night.
There will be three (3) contests each night in both Print and Digital.
Our and Print competitions will have your usual two Color and two Monochrome [aka – Mono/B&W] entries.
Plus we’ve added a Third Category, an Assigned Subject.
The Subject Assigned is the same for.
Example: “Sunrise or Sunset” can be either a print or a digital image or both.
You can enter one image in the contest and another in the Print contest.
You should never enter the same image in both, it may not score as well twice.

4. Assigned Subject Competitions
Your image can be either Color or Monochrome, it’ll make no difference to the Judge.
Your image will be judged on its own photographic merits and if it conforms to the Assignment.
You decide whether a Color or Monochrome image best fits the assignment!
Assigned Subjects are not Mandatory and are optional.
Assigned Subject scores do not impact your end of year tallies. We added a 6th monthly contest in April that does that.
Assigned Subject scores received will be tallied for their own citation presented at the End of the Season Dinner.
Creates an opportunity for you to be more creative & versatile.

All print entries must have our official label affixed on the back in the
upper left-hand corner of the board.
All our forms can be FILLED IN and Printed online at our Website, or can
be downloaded from the Website for you to complete on your own.
If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader you can fill in downloaded forms on
your home computer and print them. Otherwise you can hand write them.
