2. The Difference Between Weather and Climate
Weather is the state of the air outside at a certain time and place.Climate is the weather pattern found in a specific place over many years.

3. Tropical Climate Zone
The tropical rainforests are near the equator. So it is humid and sticky.There is a lot of sun light and rain in the tropical rain forest.

4. Temperate Climate Zone
A temperate zone is not too hot and not too cold, that’s why most of the population lives in this zone. In the winter it’s cool but it does not snow. In the summer it is not too hot, but sometimes we get temperature that’s higher than 100 degrees.

5. Desert Climate Zone
Deserts only get 10 inches of rain or less in a year. The desert gets so hot that you can see the heat waves. Many deserts are very sandy and barren.

6. Polar Climate zone
The polar zone is cold all year.The polar zone has very strong wind which makes blizzards.The polar zone has icebergs on the icy sea The are located in the Artic and Antarctic .

7. Cumulus Clouds
Cumulus clouds are puffy clouds that don’t make storms and look like cotton candy. They are 10,000 feet above the ground.

8. Cumulonimbus Clouds
Cumulonimbus clouds are 20,000 feet above the ground. These clouds are huge. Cumulonimbus clouds have storms inside them. These storms bring rain and lightning.

9. Stratus Clouds
A stratus cloud makes gloomy skies but no rain. Status clouds are clouds that spread out in the sky. These clouds are harmless.

10. Stratonimbus Clouds
Stratonimbus clouds are storm clouds. These storms last all day.They are dark and spread out. They are 3,000 feet above the ground.

11. Tornados
Tornados are funnels of powerful winds.Tornados are formed by cold and warm, dry air. Wind shears, the difference in the speed or direction of wind, make warm and cool air masses turn. Sometimes an updraft, rising warm air, hits the wind shear and dips down and makes a tornado.

12. Floods
Floods are caused by heavy rain. High rivers that overflow and flood streets. Deep floods can drown people and cars.

13. Tsunamis
A Tsunami is a series of ocean waves caused by an earthquake, land slide or volcanic eruption. If caught by a Tsunami it is better not to swim,instead grab a floating object and let the current carry you. The tsunami might look small at first, but it gets bigger.

14. Rain, rain
Rain, rain,go away come again another day. Every body wants to play, so go away.
