PEOPLE & HR PARTNER At Dartington we believe that outstanding performance is based on relationships and we provide light-touch HR to support those relationships. This role supports colleagues across the organisation to do this in the tone and context that is right for Dartington. SOME OF THE MAIN THINGS YOU’LL BE DOING: Work with Managers and Directors to discuss their people matters. Act as a critical friend, challenging their thinking, coaching them to manage situations and find practical, innovative solutions. Keep the HR Team informed to enable the provision of robust HR support. Identify patterns, trends and areas of concern both within and across teams. Keep the Head of HR and HR team informed and work with relevant managers to proactively manage issues. Participate in relevant pan Dartington Groups to represent people elements and keep abreast of organisational changes. Provide technical HR support and advice as required. Be an active member of the HR team, collaborating on initiatives and projects to improve support and delivery across Dartington. ROLE DETAILS: DEPARTMENT: HR REPORTING TO: Head of People & HR WHAT YOU WILL BRING: Considerable proven hands on experience in managing complex HR issues across multiple disciplines to reach constructive outcomes. MCIPD or above. Proven experience of working through significant change. Able to build highly effective and collaborative working relationships with others. Able to deal discreetly with matters of a confidential nature. Experience of coaching colleagues in the workplace. Commitment to work hard and act in Dartington’s best interests at all times.
