Chips are no longer available on a Monday
Wednesday is ‘Healthy Eating’ day. Only healthy options available
No animal fats used for cooking
Only lean meat used
Use of frozen products reduced and fresh products increased
Offering healthier options has not affected profits in the canteen
More staff are now using the canteen

11. 3 Months on – Activity levels
3 months free membership to gym
2 football teams
A football competition organised for the local area - 15 teams took part
A charity cricket match
Sponsoring cricket matches at local schools
6 people being trained to be healthy walks coordinators
Staff and their families have already been on walks organised by DHL
6 employees are to do a charity cycle from Lands End to Droitwich
A cycle to work initiative.
DHL regularly raise money for charity. They now focus on charity events based around physical activity
