Started in 1928 due to convention of Agricultural Education students in Kansas City, Missouri for a Livestock Show.

4. Meridian FFA Chapter Established in 1940
Operating solely out of Meridian High School until 2003, when Mountain View opened
Meridian, Idaho is home of some of the best farm ground in the state.

5. Meridian FFA Chapter Growing urban community = opening of CTC in 2007
Meridian Agricultural Department has grown to have 13 agricultural educators at 5 high schools.
Meridian FFA is one of the largest and most diverse chapters in the state of Idaho.
