Trip Details Depart February 25th (North Bay to Cochrane - Drive)
February 26th (Cochrane to Fort Albany – Polar Bear Express and Drive from Moosonee to Fort Albany) Return March 8th (Fort Albany to Cochrane – Drive and Train) March 9th (Cochrane to North Bay - Drive) Cost - $1600 (could be reduced) Food- $300 (approximately)

What does cost include? All travel; train, ground transportation
Transportation to and from school Accommodation Community engagement activities Introductory Cultural Activities prior to Fort Albany NOTE: We will be driving an ice road from Moosonee to Fort Albany

Additional Costs Food (approx. $300)
We are responsible for our own food. To reduce food costs, we will work together to plan some meals during our stay in community Purchase food prior to leaving North Bay and in community (Northern Store!) Limited food options in the north (ie. gluten-free, organic)

Selection Process Your Faculty Facilitator will review your entire file, including your practicum evaluation results, GPA, motivation section, resumé, and your references (if necessary, interviews September 26th, 27th, and 29th)

NOTIFICATION You will be notified through your Nipissing whether or not you have been NOMINATED, placed on a WAITING LIST, or DECLINED (on October 6th) If NOMINATED, you are asked to accept or decline your nomination by October 10th by noon

Other Important Items The Practicum Office will confirm success on your previous practicum placements Review of your personal and/or academic references
