This bill would specify that a recipient of CalWORKs benefits is eligible to receive specified housing supports, including
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE and
HOUSING STABILIZATION and
RELOCATION, if the county
determines that the recipient’s family is experiencing homelessness or housing instability that would be a barrier to self-sufficiency or child well-being.
