2. What are inches?
Inches are a type of measurement. Measurement is very helpful for a lot of reasons.
One reason is builders use measurement to make houses.
They can also help with school with learning.

3. Different supplies to measure
There are many things you can use to measure like a ruler and a tape measure.
 Sometimes measuring tools have the same name but look different
Looking at the pictures one of the tape measures are easy to bend and can roll up but the other tape measure cant roll up and it is hard to bend 

4. Half inches An inch can be broken into smaller parts.
You can find the ½ inch by dividing the inch into 2 equal parts.
The half inch would be right in the middle 
How you know it’s a half inch is there is a line right in the middle of two inches on a ruler and its sticking out farther then  the ¼  

5. What are centimeters Centimeters is another type of measurement
It is just like an inch but a lot smaller

6. A half centimeter
A half an centimeter is once again  just like a half an inch but smaller
The half a centimeter might be hard to find because the centimeter is smaller
