Background of Seda Established in 2004 through the National Small Business Amendment Act - Act 29 of 2004 An agency under the Department of Trade and Industry, the dti - Ministry of Small Business Merging three entities Ntsika Enterprise Promotion Agency, National Manufacturing Advisory Centre (NAMAC) and Community Public Private Partnership Programme STP formed by incorporating GODISA Trust; National Technology Transfer Centre, The small enterprise support function (SAQI) and the technology related activities of the Technology for Women in Business (TWIB)
