8 Our Community Fibre Partnership capabilities
We’ve got a dedicated team providing management and support via We’re working with 100s of communities across the UK and have passed over 20,000 THP via our Community Fibre Partnerships to date We’re looking to make the process for co-funding fibre for communities simpler, faster and as painless as possible We’ve established a partnership with Spacehive to help communities to crowdfund their superfast broadband. This will support communities to establish legal entities for contracting If a community wants to work with us we’ll provide a single point of contact for the full journey We can provide marketing and packs to help communities raise awareness and funds

9 Where are we? 92% of the UK has access to superfast broadband – 24mbps By 2017, this will be 95% We are still delivering in the Connecting Devon and Somerset area and will finish strongly Around 856,000 businesses and home have access to fibre broadband in Devon and Somerset already BT is investing and will work in partnership with communities to deliver access to fibre broadband If you can’t currently receive superfast broadband we would love to work with you Remember the speed upgrade isn’t automatic so check what you can get at
