1 Literature Review and Searching for Articles

2 Literature Review Contains a summary or synthesis of what the literature says about the topic of your research. Include at least 10 different citations, at least six beyond the readings provided in the course. Primary sources, at least 3, of research reported by the researchers themselves (e.g., Matthews, Thornton). Secondary sources interpret or cite primary sources and are one or more steps removed from the event (e.g., Principles to Actions).

3 Searching for Articles
Review the reference lists in articles, chapters, and reports to get started (e.g., Falkner article). Use Google Scholar to find articles of interest. Access many articles via the UWM Library to read online or download as PDF. NCTM membership: TCM, MTMS, JRME online. (Limited requests, specific link to mh or dh).
