22 Take One: After Post-session interview:
How was the navigationmenu of the quiz? User 1: Very simple User 2: I understood how to navigate without confusion When you hit save, what happened? User 1: A pop-up told me my work had been saved. User 2: A pop-up dialogue box opened. When you hit home, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: It took me back to the starting page and let me continue from there. User 2: I was directed back to the start screen of the Lingometer quiz. However, it did not prompt me to save my work. When you hit help, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: A pop-up box opened with addresses. It might be useful to have phone numbers there as well. User 2: A dialogue box opened with information, however, it did not have an “OK” button. A help phone line was also missing. Did you find yourself needing any other buttons? User 1: A “My Account” button would be helpful if the user wanted to see their account information. User 2: A “dictionary” button might be useful, since this quiz is geared towards vocabulary. When you hit logout, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: It took me to a page with a login prompt. User 2: I was given a login box. There was no button to make sure my work was saved.

23 Take One: Design Changes
When selecting the “Home” button, there needs to be a prompt telling the user their work has been saved and to make sure the user wants to go home. Add phone number and “OK button” to “Help” pop-up. Add “Dictionary” button Add prompt to save work before “Logout” is complete

24 Take Two: Before User Recruitment Tasks:

49 Take Two: After Post-session interview:
How was the navigation menu of the quiz? User 1: The top buttons made it very user-friendly. User 2: There were many buttons I could press for different options. When you hit save, what happened? User 1: A pop-up dialogue box opened that informed me the quiz was saved up to this point. User 2: A box opened and told me the quiz had been saved. When you hit home, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: A pop-up told me my work was going to be saved and took me to the home screen. This pop-up did not give me the option to remain on the page. User 2: It took me back to the home screen where the quiz started. When you hit help, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: Another pop-up dialogue box opened with help information, such as addresses and a phone number. User 2: It opened with addresses and a phone number in case I need help. Did you find yourself needing any other buttons? User 1: A link to the SLIS homepage would be a good addition. User 2: I don’t think so. When you hit logout, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: A pop-up told me my work was being saved, but did not give me the option of staying on the page. User 2: I was logged out to a different screen. When you hit dictionary, what happened? Was anything missing? User 1: Dictionary button directed me to the Google homepage, but I was unsure how to get back to the quiz. User 2: I was brought to Google.

50 Future Design Changes Make dictionary “google” page a pop-up, or possibly direct it to dictionary.com or a specific SLIS index. Allow “home” and “logout” pop-up boxes to have the option to remain on current page Possibly add the SLIS homepage link
