4. Pronoun
Alternate name for a noun. e.g. he, she, it, I , you, we, they

5. Adjective
Modifies the meaning of a noun or a pronoun e.g. big, good, tall, pink

6. Verb
Expresses an occurrence, act, or mode of being. e.g. is, were, kick, went, does

7. He ran quickly, yesterday
Adverb
Modifies (tell you more about) a verb, adverb, or adjective. e.g. quickly, loudly, here, yesterday

8. Jack and Jill went up the hill.
Conjunction
A word that joins words, phrases, or clauses. Eg: for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so (FANBOYS)

9. Preposition
shows time, place, movement, direction, relationship. e.g. with, for, at, from, to

10. Interjection
Expresses emotion. e.g. Gosh! Wow! Super! Yes!
