Provides 4000 merit based scholarships (1000 per year) to top STEM, health, and education students

Fixed Tuition
Gives BOG and BOT flexibility to increase undergrad fees by no more than 3% per academic year
Reduces tuition at certain institutions (WCU, UNCP, ECSU)
Evaluates out-of-state admission cap at certain institutions
Establishes Cheatham-White merit scholarship at N.C. A&T and NCCU

DOJ has filed lawsuit alleging that HB2 violates the Civil Rights Act
Gov. McCrory, Sen. Berger, and Speaker Moore have filed lawsuits  asking court to declare that NC’s “commonsense law to maintain sex-specific restrooms” complies with federal law
Obama administration will NOT hold up federal funds
