aisle seat [aIl sit] (np) the seat that is near the aisle 靠走道的位子 available [K'velKbT] (adj.) able to be had, obtained, used, seen, etc. 可獲得的 boarding pass ['bRrdIE pGs] (np) an official card to be given up when one enters an aircraft 登機證

book [bUk] (v.) to arrange in advance to have something; to reserve 預訂 check in [QAk In] (vp) to register as a guest at a hotel or as a passenger at an airport 登記(旅館,飛機,等等)

Conversation Jenny: Do you still have a window seat available?
Staff: I’m sorry. All window seats are taken. Jenny: That’s OK. I want an aisle seat then, closer to the front. Staff: Let me check. Oh, yes, we do. Jenny: We’d like three seats together, please. I’d like a seat away from the lavatory, if possible.

Do remember to check in two hours before your flight leaves. Good morning, your ticket and passport, please. I’d like to check in. I have two tickets on flight number 705 to Tokyo for checking in.

This plane seems to be fully booked, I’m afraid. I think I’ll have to put you on standby. But I will have to get to New York by Monday morning. Don’t worry. There is another plane taking off two hours later. That one looks quite empty.
