How long will the course last?
Depending on the course you will have a number of assessments to complete and the deadlines for each are 3 weeks or 4 weeks. At enrolment and induction you will be provided with deadlines dates for each assessment and you will be expected to hand in your work on time. Extensions to deadlines are permitted for special circumstances and can be granted by your assessor or a member of the administration team. You will be expected to maintain communication with the administration team and your assessor. This can be via or telephone so you will be expected to share your address and mobile phone number.

What level are the courses?
All of our distance learning courses are level 2. Equivalent to a GCSE. You will need to have basic written English and Maths skills as a minimum and be prepared to develop these skills throughout the duration of the course through support from your assessor. Basic study skills will be required. Understanding of how to ‘describe’ or ‘explain’ your answer and to be able to write without copying from another source. Support can be given for anyone with a learning disability – we hope that if you joined one of our courses that you would share this information so that we can plan how best to support you.
