My job makes the world a better place! Strives/Struggles daily to do my best for my family and yours…judgement free zone :o) Will LOVE your kids Work is work and Home is home Hubby teaches at Onslow Early College, Elli is in 2nd and Maly is in 4th and Peekaboo is my fur baby. I love my family, the outdoors, Spartan Races, working out, reading, volunteering at church and TEACHING.

Coming and Going Arrive 8:25… Late 8:45 (not a good habit).
Family welcome in class 1st day, at door after that…we can talk if help is needed with the transition Kiss and Go Line in front of school Park and enter in front but use crosswalk Car Riders Dismissal – 3:25 Park in the back and pick up your kiddo in the cafeteria from the Kindergarten area Bus Riders – get me your kiddo’s number in café on Friday if they will EVER ride the bus

Let’s Eat Breakfast is $1.25 or free (reduced)
Lunch is $2.25 or $.40 reduced, Milk is $.50 Label Lunch Boxes and keep it simple and easy or send bulk pay (daily cash in the folder is difficult at this age) Snack – send a healthy one in snack bag Donations welcome (goldfish, pretzels, etc)

Good Habits 7 Habits folder– please check daily, use front pocket to send notes and labeled money Initial the behavior calendar (a letter to explain will come) Homework (Bag Books and Ball Words) and PLAY! Come to school on time. Daily snack in snack bag. Keep a positive attitude about school, it will be contagious. Shoes need straps and dresses/skirts need undershorts, pants/belts need to be possible

Happy and Healthy Expect independence…with comfort and love
SLEEP – 10 hours is a great goal WASH HANDS – sing a song to time Fever, vomit, diarrhea, etc… keep at home till clear for 24 hours. None of these but “sick”…send and we’ll give it a try! No Daycare = more sick days Momtuition/Dadtuition is usually right! Send a change of clothes – happens to us all

A Day in K Play, play and more play, nap, snack and play some more right? The new Kindergarten - Reading, Word Work, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Communication Skills and SOCIAL SKILLS (the big one). We move, laugh and have fun but I do take our learning to heart and I have high expectations. We will focus on the positive but also work quickly and firmly to correct the behaviors that hurt our learning. You will be involved when needed. I handle MANY things here, you will hear if needed. Also – Use any time you need.

Specials Daily Specials at 1:00-1:30 PE 2 is Wed 1:35-2:05
Global is Friday 1:35-2:05 We will also have a weekly library book checkout day (I will share that later) Tennis shoes required PE and PE2 Day

FORMS I NEED to know how your child will go home their first day and days following Multi-media Opt out – WILL NOT BE IN YEARBOOK Please complete when you get: Emergency Medical Form (with contact numbers) Small Info card (will be used in office) Card – so we can stay in touch Lunch Forms, Insurance Forms, Media form, etc

My – Check 7 Habits folder daily REMIND 101 Volunteering – when the kids and I am ready we will let you know Lunch Visits – just ask before coming until October so we can make sure they’re ready
