Faculty Learning Communities Focus on Preparation of Faculty for Effective Teaching and Learning Provides Pedagogy, Methods, and Strategies Facilitators Conduct Workshops and Seminars and Mentor Faculty Piloted Summer 2010 with 15 Faculty

Purpose: To provide a series of faculty development opportunities which will equip all participating faculty to more effectively teach students by aligning their teaching styles with students’ diverse learning styles Participants: Thirty faculty members have participated in three Faculty Learning Communities (FLC) The Third - A Mathematics Faculty Learning Community
