Covenants Contract or agreement between two or more parties
Covenant is how God chose to: Communicate to us Redeem us Guarantee us eternal life in Jesus Christ The Bible is a covenant document

Initiating party describes himself Initiating party describes what he has done A list of obligations between two or more parties is documented Sections dealing with rewards and punishment that govern keeping and breaking of the covenant Vows and oaths come out of this pattern
