The Mosaic Covenant Is the third major covenant in the Bible, each comprising the message of judgment and grace The first is the Noahic The second is the Abrahamic

The Mosaic Covenant Did NOT save the Jews
Israel’s salvation was based upon the promises and provisions of the Abrahamic covenant: Exodus 19.4; Exodus 20.2 The Mosaic covenant explains to ALL of God’s people that the right response to grace is obedience. Titus Tit 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Tit 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Was designed to use the nation of Israel in the world, just as Abraham was used. Exodus ; Deuteronomy 4.4-8 Just as Adam failed, so did Israel. Just as Christ is the Second Adam ( I Corinthians 15.45), so He is the True Israel (Galatians ) Reveals both God’s grace and judgment Exodus 19.4 Exodus

Zeroes in on the human heart—not just external conduct. Exodus 20.1-17
The first commandment and the last commandment are clearly directed at the human heart: we worship what we covet

Demonstrates that God’s sovereignty over our conduct is not simply an abstract concept: Exodus (cf. I Corinthians 10.31) Covetousness. Ex Murder. Exodus Stealing. Exodus False witness. Exodus Adultery. Exodus God’s supremacy. Exodus

Is working towards the ultimate goal for redeemed mankind.
Exodus Revelation 22.4: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
