Activ8 After-school program aimed to increase physical activity in Grundy County. Bonner and Canale Students from Sewanee implement SPARK curriculum. Currently operating at three schools.

Cooking Matters Sessions
As a part of the No Kid Hungry campaign, this program teaches participants to shop smarter, use nutritional information to make better food choices and cook affordable meals. Nutritious meals at home for kids and family.

School Gardens

Healthy Ambassadors Passionate volunteers from the community that are willing to work with the Grundy county health council in order to better the health of our community. They look for people within groups like church, political leaders and etc. They are tasked with communication with those groups about events, goals and objectives. Health representatives in Grundy Conty.

VISTAs Work with the public health educator for Grundy County.
Build capacity and connection with community leaders. Are support for projects in the county. Garden club at Swiss Memorial School. Working with a partner from Yale in order to collect data on tobacco. Also work with Healthier TN Communities.
