But it makes them hard to find By default, it shows only part of menus Click here to see the full menu Paul Mundy

Right-click on an empty part of any toolbar Select Customize… Paul Mundy

Select Customize… Paul Mundy

Click on one of the toolbars listed Or click New… to create a new toolbar Paul Mundy

Select the Commands tab Select one of the Categories Browse until you find the command you want Drag the command from the right-hand pane Drop the button onto the toolbar Paul Mundy

If you want a button with an image rather than text… Right-click on your new button Click Edit button image… Paul Mundy

Paint the image you want Preview the result here Click OK Paul Mundy

Right-click (again!) on the button Select Default Style Click Close Paul Mundy

Add buttons for commands you use often Check the All Commands category for Word commands you didn’t know existed Paul Mundy

To save your buttons Click Yes if Word asks if you want to save the template To remove a button Right-click on it Select Customize Drag the button off the toolbar Beware Creating buttons can eat up lots of time! Paul Mundy
