About the school premises
The school is housed in a dilapidated building with primary classes LKG to V in the building owned by the IZM and the adjacent building was taken on lease to accommodate Grade VI to Grade X students. Since the surrounding area is low lying, the rain water always flows inside the school premises and hence there is water logging and seepage. Some of the classrooms are flooded with rain water during torrential down pour in the monsoon season. The rented building too is not very conducive to house a school as the stair case is too narrow with uneven flooring and the roof has projecting steel rods which can be potentially dangerous. Apart from the building inconveniences there is frequent power breakdowns causing severe problems particularly during summer times.

Ray of hope – down the tunnel Construction of New Building
After running the school for almost 19 years in the present premises, one of the donor and well wisher of IZM has come forward to construct a new building for all the classes. The construction was begun in Feb ‘16 and is in process, expected to have the new building by the beginning of next academic year – say May 2017.

A friend in need is friend indeed!
* The visiting dignitaries from Cyient and Rotary are requested to provide drinking water facility to the students. The proposal includes: a) construction of an underground tank (sump) to collect the municipal water b) pump the water to the overhead tank c) a RO unit and d) multiple outlets from the overhead tank down to the student height. * The amount involved could be between US $ 2500 – However it is wise to have a concrete proposal from the civil contractor. If needed it can be done in due course of time.
