3 WHO IS YOUR CONGRESS? President: Ramiz A. Razzak
Ensures proper implementation of all Congress policies and programs Vice President: Jia R Shao Primary liaison between Congress and clubs Chief Electoral Officer (non-voting) Vice President of Finance: Abhinav Pal In charge of all financial on goings of MSU clubs Files all budget requests, requests for funds, deposits, etc.

Responsible for all communication with Congress Coordinator of External Affairs: TBD Overseeing and maintaining all external relationships Coordinator of Cultural Affairs: TBD Ensuring that, throughout the year, a number of cultural activities are offered to all students

Raises awareness about social justice issues Coordinator of Charities and Volunteering: TBD Establishes and maintains contact with different charities, responsible for providing volunteering opportunities for students Coordinator of Social Activities: Veronica Rodighiero Responsible for organizing activities in/out of the college (ex. Haunted house, parties, etc.)

JOIN A CLUB DAY Tuesday, September 5, 2017 during AP in the gymnasium POSTERS FOR EVENTS You are allowed to 1 large Bristol board and 3 (8x11) posters to advertise in the A-100 wing All posters must be stamped and approved by Wayne (Wayne’s World) Please remove your poster(s) after the event

Ramiz A Razzak, President: in certain cases, he can help fundraise and get approval for licenses Jia R Shao, Vice President: can put you in contact with other club executives (for collaborations, for example) and voice any of your concerns to Congress Abhinav Pal, Vice President of Finance: approves budget/grant requests and can answer all questions related to club finances

Duties of Club Execs Attend Congress hosted GAs and AGA Attend both club planning sessions (Fall and Winter semesters) All requests for funding must be approved by the Financial Policy Committee

Please visit the room to see what your club has and throw out the items you do not need Use this room to store your club stuff Key will be at Wayne’s KEEP IT CLEAN AND ORGANIZED!!!!!! ** Execs are responsible for stolen/damaged items ** Please report stolen/damaged items to Vice President

19 To be recognized as a Club, you must…
Submit a mid-year and end-year report Have a minimum of 2 executives Submit a financial budget (if applicable) Attend the Club Planning Sessions, GAs and the AGM Submit inventory to the Vice President twice a year (included in the Mid-Year and End-Year reports) Keep on file a copy of their constitution, meeting minutes, list of members and execs.

21 Club Funding Approved by Financial Policy Committee as outlined in the Congress Constitution Assembly Execs may call an assembly or 1/10 of members may call an assembly Must be announced 7 days prior ** Clubs are subject to a biannual review by Congress ** Clubs that are in good standing may carry over fundraising money (amounts more than $3000 but less than $5000 must be approved by Congress) ** If a club is inactive for 2 years their funds will be re-absorbed by Congress
