III- No Housing Soldiers IV- Improper Search and Seizures V- Right to Remain Silent VI- Right to Speedy and Public Trial VII- Right to Trial by Jury VIII- No Excessive Bail

5 Other Important Amendments
13th- Abolish Slavery 14th- Africans are U.S. Citizens 15th- Right to Vote to African Males 19th Right to Vote to Women

6 Articles Article 1- Legislative (House and Senate)
- Article 2- Executive - Article 3- Judiciary - Checks and balances

7 Legislative Branch House of Representatives is based on the state population Senate has two members per state

8 Representative Requirements- 25 Years Old and a Citizen for 7 Years
Serve for Two years

9 Senator Requirements- 30 years old and a Citizen for Nine Years
Serve for 6 Years The Vice President is the President of the Senate

10 Executive Branch Requirements for President- Natural Born Citizen, 35 Years Old and a Resident for 14 Years Can Serve 2 Four Year Terms Commander and Chief of Armed Services and can make Treaties

11 Judicial Branch 9 Members of the Supreme Court
Appointed by the President Can serve as long as they have Good Behavior

12 Created Created on September 17th, 1787 by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
