4. Emperor Diocletian did not like Christians
He ordered all churches to be destroyed and Christians to be killed…

5. St. Rebecca & her 5 Children were not afraid….
They knew that in the Bible, Jesus called the little children to Himself and said:
“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God” -- Luke 18:16

6. St. Rebecca & her children prayed and the Lord Jesus Christ appeared to them, promising crowns of martyrdom

7. “We are Christians. We are Christians
“We are Christians! We are Christians! The Lord Jesus Christ is our God and our King!”

8. The emperor tortured them very badly, but …
They were very brave, stayed patient and joyful, trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ! They knew what God says in the Holy Bible:
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you…” -- Isaiah 41:10

9. Many people saw them and became Christians!

10. There is now a church known as “The Five and Their Mother”
