10 Practice Prewriting You are 3rd graders.
As a class, we will select a topic. (Fire and Water) We will work through the four box system to create a list of possible nouns, adjectives, and participles on our topic. (Fire and Water) We will create this list together. We will later use this list to create our class draft.

You are still 3rd graders. Select a topic containing two opposite ideas. Think about how these items look, how you feel about the items, synonyms and anonyms, and actions those items do.

Work through the four box system. Work alone. The teachers will be walking around if you have any questions.
