Overview Utilizes a new calendar framework for enhanced capabilities
New presentation of existing events Event Categories can be fully customized by a district with the addition of colors for each category Administrative services are implemented using the new admin screens Integration of Google calendars within the district and club calendars

Calendar framework Replaces existing calendar software which had become out of date and was difficult to extend 10,000+ lines of code maintained by a large group of developers to fix bugs and integrate enhancements (like Google calendars) Extended by DACdb to customize the experience in a manner that allows for upgrades to new code releases Utilizes the existing DACdb events already defined

Administrative service
New graphical interface consistent with the DACdb GUI approach Data is presented in sortable columns which may be sorted correctly by text, numbers and event check marks Page sizes are set dynamically to adjust to screen sizes for large screens Direct navigation to the first, last, next and a specific page number Search field can find data from all columns in the table without having to return to the server (local copy)

Google - requirements You must have a google account
You need to obtain a google developer API key for calendars 1,000,000 request limit/day 5 request limit/second You may only use public calendars Share your own district/club calendar as public Use existing Google calendars such as holidays Google calendars are integrated with DACdb using a new administrative feature

Status Will be deployed after the conference as a special menu (extending the existing NC menu item) for feedback Plans to integrate Google calendars are event categories so that they may be further customized
